Kia At the Frankfurt Motor Show

2018 Blue Kia Stinger | Gunther Kia
The 2017 Frankfurt International Motor Show recently wrapped up, and Kia introduced some beautiful new models and intriguing redesigns that had people at the show talking. If you weren't able to make it to the show yourself, keep reading to discover all the exciting details that Kia revealed. Kia Stinger One of the showstoppers at Frankfurt was the Kia Stinger. This sports sedan gives you a unique compromise between exhilaration and comfort. At the motor show, the Stinger revealed its two turbocharged engines. There's the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 255 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, as well as the available 3.3-liter V-6 engine, which produces 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. Even more impressive, the V-6 engine can go from zero to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds. Kia Picanto X-Line The Kia Picanto X-Line is the newest addition in the Picanto lineup, which is available in the European market. It's youthful, fun, and energetic. And with a spacious interior and excellent trunk capacity, it's also practical. The Picanto X-Line comes with a sportier front and rear fascia, black cladding around the wheel arches, slightly higher ride height, and dramatic Lime Green grille inserts and fog lamp surrounds. Of course, if you want something more restrained, you can also opt for silver highlights. Kia Stonic Another new offering in the European market from Kia is the Stonic. This compact crossover offers innovative features and responsive handling for an exciting drive. Plus, with several customization options, including five color variations for the roof and up to 20 two-tone color combinations, it's also easy to make your Stonic exactly how you want it. Plus, the Stonic comes loaded with technology features. Standard conveniences include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Available features are forward collision alert, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian recognition, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and blind spot detection. Kia Sorento The Kia Sorento showcased its upgrades at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. Thanks to the new eight-speed automatic transmission in this latest version of the popular mid-size SUV, you'll enjoy smoother shifting and reduced emissions. Another exciting addition to the Sorento lineup is the GT-Line specification, which offers enhanced style and performance while still providing the comfort and versatility that Sorento is known for. You'll also notice an updated grille, new front and rear fascias, and redesigned headlights and taillights. Kia Proceed Concept Wagon One of the final exciting showings at the event was the new Kia Proceed concept wagon. This stunning model comes with a Lava Red paint job that Kia says it accomplished by mixing chrome, black, and red-tinted lacquer together. Along with the eye-catching paint, the Proceed also offers a sporty body that turns heads. The roofline flows evenly into a tailgate that has stacked air vents and rear taillights inspired by molten metal. The 2017 Frankfurt International Motor Show gave Kia a chance to show off what it has been working on and the motor company certainly took the time to impress.

The Spacious 2020 Kia Telluride Crossover SUV

Most crossovers are not known for their size. Instead, they are known for being smaller versions of larger SUVs. However, the 2020 Kia Telluride stands on its own as a large, spacious, and enjoyable crossover with many of the features of an SUV. If you are looking for a vehicle that can perform like an SUV but is made for families and daily driving, check out the 2020 Kia Telluride. Spacious Design The 2020 Kia Telluride is the largest crossover that Kia offers, which gives it a distinct advantage over other models. It has the extra size needed to be more spacious on the inside. Kia designed it with this in mind so that drivers and passengers won't feel like they are crammed into a small car. Instead, it has plenty of open space for your passengers with a third row. This also translates into a lot of cargo space that you can use when the seats are folded. All around, the 2020 Kia Telluride is a very versatile vehicle because of its extra space. Towing Power The 2020 Kia Telluride comes standard with a 3.8L V-6 engine. Combined with an eight-speed transmission and Active On-Demand AWD, it can tow up to 5,000 lbs. That is more than most crossovers and enough for vehicle trailers, campers, and medium boat trailers. You can take advantage of this to get more power out of your Telluride for fund driving, or for taking your favorite recreational vehicles with you on vacation. Either way, the Telluride has what it takes to get there. more Standard Driver-Assist Systems The 2020 Kia Telluride comes equipped with many of Kia's top safety features. These include the Active Cruise Control. It works like normal cruise control, except an onboard monitoring system watches for other vehicles and adjusts accordingly. If there is a vehicle ahead of you, the Telluride slows down to match its speed. Once the vehicle is gone, the Telluride returns to the speed that you set. It can even come to a stop, making it useful even in stop and go traffic. While it is not a full replacement for a driver, it does make long-trips much easier. Comfortable Seating The 2020 Kia Telluride is designed for long trips and the seating stays comfortable throughout. It uses well seats to cushion and cradle your body so that even rough roads are more pleasant. The cabin is designed to be very quiet as well, which makes it easy to talk to people while you drive. A 10-speaker sound system also sounds great for music since the cabin controls sound so well. The AC system effectively heats and cools all three rows, making it possible for everyone to be comfortable the entire time. There is much more to the 2020 Kia Telluride that you should explore in person. You'll get a much better sense of how great it can be. Visit your local Kia dealer today to see what the Telluride is like in person and what it can do for you on the road.
