However, choosing the right one isn't as easy as it seems. With three available models, the 2019 Soul has a little something for everyone. Base The Base model of the 2019 Kia Soul is anything but ordinary, offering numerous standard features at the entry level. On the exterior, the Base gets automatic halogen headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, power side mirrors, and matte black accents. Make the Base stand out from the rest with one of six paint options, including Clear White, Bright Silver, Titanium Gray, Alien 2, Inferno Red, and Shadow Black. more Inside, the Base comes packed with sumptuous features. Premium cloth upholstery, a six-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth highlight these amenities. This year, the Base model also gets a rearview camera, making it easier to back up and navigate tight spaces in reverse. A 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine powers the Soul Base, churning out 130 horsepower and 118 pound-feet of torque with either a six-speed stick or six-speed automatic transmission. Along with some top-notch acceleration, this engine also gets up to 31 mpg on the highway and 26 mpg in the city. Plus (+) The mid-tier option of the 2019 Kia Soul is the +, spoken as the Plus. This upgrade provides even more options, such as keyless entry, cruise control, a drive-mode selector, automatic climate control, fog lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Plus also gets five extra color choices: Wild Orange, Caribbean Blue, Mysterious Blue, and two different two-tone options. Under the hood, a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine supplies the power, kicking out 161 horsepower and up to 150 pound-feet of torque. An electronically controlled Sportmatic six-speed automatic transmission smoothly shifts you from gear to gear, while also dishing out up to 30 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city. Exclaim (!) 2019 Kia Sportage - Kia Dealer

Sportage or Sorento - Which One Fits Your Bill?

Image “Kia Sportage 2.o LX Special Pack 2019” by RL GNZLZ, used under CC BY-SA 2.0 Slotted between the Niro and the all-new Telluride, the Kia Sportage and Kia Sorento are two midsize crossovers that combine aesthetics, convenience, and versatility into one complete package. Similar in outward appearance and close in size, it's difficult to tell the two apart at a glance. However, these two crossovers each offer their own set of perks that will entice different types of buyers. If you're on the ropes about which one to buy, here's a quick breakdown of Kia's two compelling crossovers. Interior The interiors of both the Sportage and the Sorento come well-appointed, offering sumptuous features at the high end and nice standard specs at the entry level. The Sportage touts comfortable cloth seating and leatherette accents at the base level, while the Sorento evens the battle with the same features. Upper trims also get leather-trimmed seating, heated front seats, a power sunroof, and dual-zone automatic climate control. more Cargo Space The slightly larger 2019 Kia Sorento gets the edge in terms of cargo space and passenger capacity. With 73 cubic feet of total cargo, you can pack more than the 60.3 cubic feet afforded by the Sportage. The Sorento also has standard third-row seating, allowing you to haul up to seven passengers compared to five for the Sportage. Tech Features Tech features are rampant in both the Sportage and the Sorento, providing a virtual stalemate in terms of extras. A standard 7-inch touch screen on the Sorento outpaces the 5-inch on the Sportage, but upper trims of the Sportage upgrade to a 7-inch if you prefer. Another bonus of the Sorento's entry-level option is that it comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard, while you'd have to go with the mid-tier Sportage for such an option. On all trims, you'll still get a six-speaker audio system, power windows and locks, and a rear camera display. Safety With a bevy of driver-assist safety features, both the 2019 Kia Sorento and the 2019 Kia Sportage earn a perfect five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. However, the Sorento goes one step further courtesy of a Top Safety Pick Plus nod from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Engine and Fuel Economy If you're searching for fuel economy, stick with the Sportage. With either the turbocharged 2.0-liter or 2.4-liter engine options, you'll get up to 30 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in the city. The turbo-four doles out an impressive 240 horsepower, while the 2.4-liter option nets 181 horsepower. The 2019 Sorento comes with a standard 2.4-liter engine that supplies 185 horsepower and up to 29 mpg on the highway, but the real winner is the 3.3-liter V-6. With this at the helm, the Sorento gets 26 mpg on the highway, but with 290 horsepower, you'll feel the difference in power. Whether you choose the Sportage or the Sorento is completely dependent on your own preferences. Either way, you're getting a vehicle that's among the best in the segment. From the alluring, flashy style of the Sportage to the spacious Sorento, these vehicles have everything you need for a road trip, commute, or family holiday. 6 Reasons the Kia Sportage is Perfect for Your Teen Driver

The 2019 Kia Sportage comes with a breathtaking array of safety features that make it the ultimate car for teen drivers. With a 5-star rating from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Association) and a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the Sportage assures parents of their teen's safety regardless of the time she spends on the road. The Sportage offers all-around reliability. From its solid construction, innovative driver assistance features and a variety of enhanced functions and fuel economy, the Kia Sportage is the car you want your teen to drive around town. Here are six features that make the 2019 Kia Sportage perfect for a teen driver. Sturdy Cabin Construction The safety of a vehicle's occupant starts with the structural integrity of the cabin. The 2019 Kia Sportage has an ultra-high tensile steel hull that provides exceptional rigidity and crash safety while reducing its weight. During a crash, the strong material will protect the passengers by reducing the impact of the collision. Other safety features in the interior make sure you come to the least amount of physical harm. more Full Cabin Air Bag System The 2019 Kia Sportage features a full cabin air bag system that deploys before a collision to protect the car's occupants. Regardless of the severity of the impact, the Sportage provides adequate protection thanks to the driver/passenger seat air bags, steering wheel air bag, driver knee air bag, front/rear air bags, and the curtain air bags. Seat Belt Pre-tensioner The seat belt pre-tensioner stops the driver or passenger from sliding forward in their seat when it senses the vehicle is about to experience a collision. This allows for a more controlled contact between the passenger/driver and the inflated air bags, limiting concussions and other serious injuries. Lane Departure Warning System This system comprises a windshield-mounted camera that tracks the lane. If the driver becomes reckless or drowsy and deviates from his lane, the Lane Departure Warning System alerts him to take control. Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) The Autonomous Emergency Braking complements the Sportage's Anti-Lock Braking System. Comprising the ASCC radar sensor and the LDWS camera, the AEB detects emergency forward collisions and optimizes the braking system for maximum action for the safety of the car and its occupants. The system tracks the brake pedal pressure, brake depression speed and other factors to deliver the braking force the car needs to decelerate. Blind Spot Detection System Blind spots are areas outside of a vehicle that the driver cannot see. Using a mix of cameras, a radar sensor, and mirrors, the Blind Spot Detection System alerts the driver of other vehicles or pedestrians in his blind spot. This system allows the driver to rule out fast-approaching vehicles and makes parallel parking and backing up less cumbersome and safer. The 2019 Kia Sportage offers a variety of advanced driver assistance features, industry-leading safety records, and even a parental control system. Whether you need a new ride for your teen or one for yourself, the 2019 Kia Sportage offers an abundance of value and comfort.

Learn more about what we know so far about this exciting addition to the Kia lineup. more Distinctive Exterior Style Although the Kia Telluride that debuted during New York Fashion Week had plenty of extra equipment on the outside that won't come on the production model, it's easy to see the SUV will still offer distinctive and head-turning style. The body is bold and boxy and has an almost truck-like silhouette. The vehicle features a wide grille, tall headlights that sit high on the body, and wide taillights. Additionally, it appears as though the headlights could also sport daytime running lights on the bottom. Streamlined Technology The new Kia Telluride appears to showcase some streamlined technology to make driving easier and more comfortable. It seems as though the SUV will have a semi-digital dual-zone climate control system and advanced infotainment system. Plenty of Space Although final measurements are not yet known, Kia does say that the Telluride is several inches wider and longer than the Sorento. Currently, the Kia Sorento offers seating for up to seven people. If you need more space than that, you'll appreciate that the Telluride can hold up to eight people. This means that unlike the third row in the Sorento that only accommodates two people, the Telluride will have a third row that can seat three. However, some industry insiders believe it's possible the Telluride will also have a seven-seat model with captain's chairs in the second row. Comfortable Interior In addition to plenty of extra space, the Kia Telluride should provide a comfortable interior with some of your favorite conveniences. Kia hasn't specified what type of features will come on the Telluride. However, if you take a look at the model shown during New York Fashion Week, you'll see sophisticated style and comfort. While this particular model showcases wood trim and special leather trim that most industry experts agree are either only for the debut or only available on top trim levels, you can still expect plenty of soft touches and impressive features. Powerful Engine So far, the only thing we know about the engine under the hood of the Telluride is that it's a V-6 engine. Kia hasn't offered any additional information or performance specifics beyond that. However, some industry experts believe it's possible the Telluride will have the same 3.3-liter V-6 engine that's available in the Sorento. If so, it might also produce 290 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, it seems safe to assume the Telluride will also have an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. If you're thinking about getting a new SUV, the 2020 Kia Telluride should arrive in early 2019. Silver 2018 Kia Rio | Gunther Kia

A Look at the Upcoming 2018 Kia Rio

When the Kia Rio hit American roads in 2000, it didn't garner great reviews. Sure, it provided a place to get from here to there with a cheap price tag and excellent fuel economy, but it didn't do anything to change the game. Eighteen years later, Kia brings the fourth generation of the Kia Rio to showrooms, and it looks every bit the part of a game changer. Available in both a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback, the Kia breathes new life into the subcompact segment. Here's a look at all it has to offer in the upcoming year. Engine Options One of the most intriguing options of the 2018 Kia Rio is its three engine options. Ranging from super efficient to powerful, yet not pretentious, the Rio has an engine for every type of driver. The first option is a 1.2-liter, inline four-cylinder engine that delivers 83 horsepower and 90 pound-feet of torque. It won't win any land speed records, but it's sure to provide the fuel economy that entices buyers in the segment. The next choice is a turbocharged 1.4-liter, diesel inline four-cylinder that adds a bit more oomph with 89 horsepower and a surprising 177 pound-feet of torque. The only deal with this engine is that Kia hasn't yet revealed whether this option will be available in the U.S., Europe, or both. Finally, the Kia Rio may also have a rare, turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine aimed at providing both efficiency and speed. It kicks out 99 horsepower, which is awesome despite its tiny engine displacement. It's not yet known which transmission will come with each engine or if you can choose the options, but a five-speed manual, six-speed manual, and four-speed automatic are all on the table. more Additional Features You could purchase the entry-level Rio when it comes out, but you'd miss out on some of the amazing features that come with the high-end trims. Early details are scant, but it looks like there's a number of comforts, safety, and convenience features that are sure to please. Remote keyless entry, Bluetooth wireless technology, a rear camera display, 15-inch alloy wheels, and Kia UVO eServices will all come on upper-level models. However, the addition of autonomous emergency braking is the true standout, showing Kia's continued commitment to vehicle safety. Smartphone Connectivity In the past few years, Kia has put a premium on adding advanced technology features to their vehicles. The 2018 Rio is no different. This year, the Rio adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. With these two systems, you can seamlessly connect your mobile device, which brings your apps and other gadgets to the car's head unit. Not only does this give you instant access to music, navigation, and apps, but it also keeps your eyes on the road. That way, you won't have to test out the autonomous emergency braking. The 2018 Kia Rio is a bold statement from the Korean automaker that shows they mean nothing but business. It's not yet known when the Rio will hit showrooms, so you'll just have to drool for a bit longer. Image by Kia

2018 Black Kia Stinger | Gunther Kia

The Stunning 2018 Kia Stinger

Kia first came to the United States in 1992 with the intention of selling economical cars that appealed to commuters, college graduates, and those looking for a value buy. With this mantra, the Korean automaker never dared to approach the sports car realm. Most sports car manufacturers had already established a loyal following and cornered the market. Yet here we are 25 years later, and it's finally happened. Kia has breached the sports car segment. If you haven't heard the news, the 2018 Kia Stinger looks, feels, and plays the part of a sports sedan masterpiece. Here's a quick look at the stunning 2018 Stinger. The Peter Schreyer Touch If you hadn't noticed, Kia started to undergo a revolution of design and ingenuity starting in 2006. That's the year Kia lured Peter Schreyer from the Volkswagen Group, which manufactures Bentley, Audi, and Lamborghini. When he arrived, he turned his interests to making Kia a more reputable brand through attractive design. The Kia Stinger was just one of his brainchildren. Combining European styling with Korean innovation, the Stinger was born, and just 12 years later, it's finally made its way to production. more A Driver's Car With two turbocharged engine options, the 2018 Kia Stinger is the ultimate driver's car. What makes this even more remarkable is that it's Kia's first attempt to create a sports car, and it seems like they hit on all cylinders. The stock engine for the Stinger is a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder that kicks out 255 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. If that's not enough to satisfy your zest for speed, an upgrade to the 3.3-liter twin turbo V6 will undoubtedly do the trick. Behind this engine, the Kia pumps out an impressive 365 horsepower and up to 376 pound-feet of torque. That's enough power to compare with the big boys of the industry. Both engine choices mate with a swift, sporty eight-speed automatic transmission. Performance Hardware Performance isn't just about having a mammoth engine. It's about having the underpinnings to tackle any obstacle, curve, or straightaway thrown in your path. Fortunately, the Stinger contributes a number of specs that easily propel it around the tightest spaces and turns. Brembo vented disc brakes allow you to stop on a dime or slow your speed enough to turn comfortably, while dynamic stability control with five modes allows you to grip the road with ease. A MacPherson front and multi-link rear suspension provides even more comfort as you drive, while rack-mounted motor driven power steering allows you to navigate with no trouble at all. Safety Features The Kia Stinger looks and plays the part of a sports car, but it has tons of active safety features you don't see often in the genre. All of this tech is 100 percent designed to prevent accidents. Highlights include a Kia-first driver attention alert, forward collision assistance, blind spot detection, and rear cross traffic alert. With these features, you can feel safe and confident even when you're cruising with some pace. The 2018 Kia Stinger is a roll of the dice for Kia, but everything about it seems like a winner. Don't miss your chance to be a part of Kia history by getting behind the wheel of the Stinger in late 2017.   Image by Kia
