There are plenty of reasons to choose a Telluride; the following are a few of the features that make it stand out from the crowd. Overview The 2020 Telluride is all new and the largest SUV manufactured by Kia with seating for up to eight passengers. The SUV is available in four trim levels — LX, S, EX, and SX — with your choice of all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. Front-wheel drive comes standard. Performance The 2020 sport utility is powered by a 3.8-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It's supported by a strut-front suspension and rear multi-link suspension. The engine produces 291 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 262-pound feet of torque at 5,200 rpm. Towing capacity is generous with the SUV capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds. For a large SUV, the Telluride has a competitive fuel economy. For comparison, the front-wheel drive has a fuel economy rating of 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel drive has an estimated fuel rate of 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. Interior The interior is spacious and fitted with premium synthetic seats, a second-row bench seat, pass-through rear seat, and an additional rear seat. Travel time is comfortable in the city and on the highway with ample head, hip, leg, and shoulder room. An available option for winter travel is the availability of heated and ventilated second-row seats. Connectivity is supported by UVO link services that connect the SUV's features remotely. This feature is available with a 10.25-inch touch screen with head-up display. When room is needed for cargo space, the Telluride provides 87 cubic feet of cargo volume from the back to seat one. With the first and second seats in use, the cargo volume is 46 cubic feet to seat two. With all seats in place, the storage area is 21 cubic feet to seat three. more Safety Features The Telluride comes with an abundance of features dedicated to passenger and vehicle safety. Air bags are available for the driver and front passenger, front and rear head air bag, and front side air bag. Child safety locks are also part of the safety features. The SUV also has standard safe exit assist. Driver assisted safety features promote a confident drive. There are several available systems to aid the driver, such as a blind spot view monitor, blind spot collision avoidance assist-rear, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, integrated turn signal mirrors, and daytime running lights. Four-wheel disc brakes, four-wheel anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, traction control, and brake assist each support a safer driving experience. When choosing the 2020 Telluride, you'll be selecting a well-designed SUV that was awarded "Best in Show" at the Detroit Auto Show. The award was based on the SUV's high-end technology, spacious interior, and a well-designed comfortable cabin. Image via Flickr by Crown Star Images used under CC By

The Spacious 2020 Kia Telluride Crossover SUV

Most crossovers are not known for their size. Instead, they are known for being smaller versions of larger SUVs. However, the 2020 Kia Telluride stands on its own as a large, spacious, and enjoyable crossover with many of the features of an SUV. If you are looking for a vehicle that can perform like an SUV but is made for families and daily driving, check out the 2020 Kia Telluride. Spacious Design The 2020 Kia Telluride is the largest crossover that Kia offers, which gives it a distinct advantage over other models. It has the extra size needed to be more spacious on the inside. Kia designed it with this in mind so that drivers and passengers won't feel like they are crammed into a small car. Instead, it has plenty of open space for your passengers with a third row. This also translates into a lot of cargo space that you can use when the seats are folded. All around, the 2020 Kia Telluride is a very versatile vehicle because of its extra space. Towing Power The 2020 Kia Telluride comes standard with a 3.8L V-6 engine. Combined with an eight-speed transmission and Active On-Demand AWD, it can tow up to 5,000 lbs. That is more than most crossovers and enough for vehicle trailers, campers, and medium boat trailers. You can take advantage of this to get more power out of your Telluride for fund driving, or for taking your favorite recreational vehicles with you on vacation. Either way, the Telluride has what it takes to get there. more Standard Driver-Assist Systems The 2020 Kia Telluride comes equipped with many of Kia's top safety features. These include the Active Cruise Control. It works like normal cruise control, except an onboard monitoring system watches for other vehicles and adjusts accordingly. If there is a vehicle ahead of you, the Telluride slows down to match its speed. Once the vehicle is gone, the Telluride returns to the speed that you set. It can even come to a stop, making it useful even in stop and go traffic. While it is not a full replacement for a driver, it does make long-trips much easier. Comfortable Seating The 2020 Kia Telluride is designed for long trips and the seating stays comfortable throughout. It uses well seats to cushion and cradle your body so that even rough roads are more pleasant. The cabin is designed to be very quiet as well, which makes it easy to talk to people while you drive. A 10-speaker sound system also sounds great for music since the cabin controls sound so well. The AC system effectively heats and cools all three rows, making it possible for everyone to be comfortable the entire time. There is much more to the 2020 Kia Telluride that you should explore in person. You'll get a much better sense of how great it can be. Visit your local Kia dealer today to see what the Telluride is like in person and what it can do for you on the road.

You Won't Believe How Sweet The 2021 Optima Looks

The 2021 Kia Optima is set to return for a fifth-generation run with a look that's certified fresh. Exact plans for the midsize sedan have yet to be revealed in full, but we do know some things about what's to be expected, including major design tweaks, updated performance specs, and a Telluride-inspired dashboard. Here's what you can anticipate for the 2021 Kia Optima as we await its official U.S. debut. A Redesigned Image It's tough to map out exactly what's new and improved on the Kia Optima since prototypes of the sedan tend to be camouflaged. However, it's reported to have a few design elements adopted from fellow Kia models. The Optima's tapered, tiger-nose front grille and wraparound taillights are a signature staple of the Stinger. Meanwhile, the sloping headlights closely resemble those found on the European Ceed hatchback. What else can we expect? Refreshing sporty accents to build on this already edgy ensemble. You'll notice an updated front and rear fascia with sleek bumper layout. You'll also notice that the side mirrors hang slightly lower than before. This helps eliminate wind noise and gives the sedan a slight aerodynamic boost. Finally, an LED taillight bar extends across the back of the vehicle, preparing us for a truly bold finish. more A Dedicated Powertrain The all-new Kia Optima feels great on the road, and there are plenty of features that help it achieve such performance. The current 2019 model gets signature specs such as high-performance dampers and all-wheel drive. These are almost certain to reappear in the 2021 model as well, along with some interesting extras that make the Optima look even cooler. A 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder sets the stage for us. It pairs with either a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission or an eight-speed automatic. The second option is a 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder mated to an eight-speed, dual-clutch automatic. Revving up the engine is expected to give you more than 280 horsepower in return. An Eye-Catching Interior If you're shopping for a Kia that looks great on the inside as it does on the outside, the all-new Optima is a nice fit. The sedan boasts a wide dashboard with user-friendly controls that slant several degrees toward the driver's side for easier access. At the center of it all is an innovative infotainment system with color touch screen. You can use it to unlock features such as Bluetooth audio streaming, voice-command navigation, and SiriusXM satellite radio. This entire setup is similar to what's found in the 2020 Kia Telluride, and while it's unclear if the Optima will add the Telluride's available 10.25-inch display, we can safely assume the former will get a screen that's at least 8 inches wide. There are also a handful of features in the 2019 Optima we may see again for the upcoming model year. These options range from a power driver's seat with adjustable settings and lumbar support to available carpeted mats for the floor and trunk. With the 2021 Kia Optima in talks to debut as early as this September, it's clear we won't have to wait too long to find out more about its impressive redesign. What features on the Optima are you most excited to see?
