The 2020 Telluride is a solid SUV for getting you where you want to go and back again, in style. There are plenty of reasons to choose a Telluride; the following are a few of the features that make it stand out from the crowd. 
- Overview
The 2020 Telluride is all new and the largest SUV manufactured by Kia with seating for up to eight passengers. The SUV is available in four trim levels — LX, S, EX, and SX — with your choice of all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. Front-wheel drive comes standard.
- Performance
The 2020 sport utility is powered by a 3.8-liter V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It’s supported by a strut-front suspension and rear multi-link suspension. The engine produces 291 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 262-pound feet of torque at 5,200 rpm. Towing capacity is generous with the SUV capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds.
For a large SUV, the Telluride has a competitive fuel economy. For comparison, the front-wheel drive has a fuel economy rating of 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel drive has an estimated fuel rate of 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.
- Interior
The interior is spacious and fitted with premium synthetic seats, a second-row bench seat, pass-through rear seat, and an additional rear seat. Travel time is comfortable in the city and on the highway with ample head, hip, leg, and shoulder room. An available option for winter travel is the availability of heated and ventilated second-row seats.
Connectivity is supported by UVO link services that connect the SUV’s features remotely. This feature is available with a 10.25-inch touch screen with head-up display.
When room is needed for cargo space, the Telluride provides 87 cubic feet of cargo volume from the back to seat one. With the first and second seats in use, the cargo volume is 46 cubic feet to seat two. With all seats in place, the storage area is 21 cubic feet to seat three.
- Safety Features
The Telluride comes with an abundance of features dedicated to passenger and vehicle safety. Air bags are available for the driver and front passenger, front and rear head air bag, and front side air bag. Child safety locks are also part of the safety features. The SUV also has standard safe exit assist.
Driver assisted safety features promote a confident drive. There are several available systems to aid the driver, such as a blind spot view monitor, blind spot collision avoidance assist-rear, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, integrated turn signal mirrors, and daytime running lights.
Four-wheel disc brakes, four-wheel anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, traction control, and brake assist each support a safer driving experience.
